توم جيل مصور مناظر طبيعية وبيئية وقام بتصوير عجائب الطبيعة من الجزء الجنوبي الشرقي من بحيرة ميشيغان،
وبخاصة المنارات، لعدة سنوات خلال فصل الشتاء هذه المنارات تصبح مذهلة التكوينات الجليدية المجمدة وتحويلها إلى أشكال نحتية لا تصدق.
